Mission Statement

Richard Awtrey Ministries is dedicated to strengthening and edifing the Body of Jesus Christ in its daily walk with our Savior. Our mission is to serve as a Watchman to warn the people (Ezekiel 3:17-19); to make up a hedge and stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30); to inspire others to pray and seek God's face (II Chronicles 7:14); to pray, promote and believe that Our Heavenly Father will revive us again (Psalms 85:6).

Our mission is to preach, teach and promote, prayer, reconciliation, brokenness, forgiveness and inner healing, not only to the Body of Christ but to a lost and sin sick world. To give hope to those who feel there is no hope and give vision to those who have lost sight of the glorious greatness of our Lord God (Proverbs 29:18). We will continue to minister to the Philippines, the Navajo Nation and we will go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15), as the Lord opens the doors.

Richard Awtrey Ministries is a faith ministry. We believe that Our Heavenly Father will supply all our needs from His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Therefore, we do not request a guaranteed or advance honorarium for gifts or giving. We accept only love offerings, as led by the Holy Spirit of God. We minister on the subject of giving only upon request by the Pastor. We will not establish a minimal congregation size to minister to. No congregation will be too small or out of the way. Our ministry will serve the Body of Christ and local pastors in Crusades, Revival Meetings, Pastors' Conferences, Pulpit Supply, Prayer Groups or Bible Study Classes.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe:

In one God existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit; these three persons are co-equal and co-eternal.

In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, and His substitutinary death for all sinners. In the resurrection of Christ, His ascension and intercession for the redeemed, and His imminent, personal return for His own.

In the power of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and judgment. That He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the "Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. That He is the divine teacher who guides believers into all truth. That it is the privilege, duty, and command that all the saved be filled with the Holy Spirit. That the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to men as He sees fit.

In the supernatural inspiration of the Scriptures. That the Word of God is complete, inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts; being eternal and therefore the final authority for today.

In Satan as a real personality and in his dominion of the unregenerate world and of unregenerate people.

In the total depravity of the human race and in the sinfulness of man and the necessity of regeneration. In salvation by God's grace through faith. The assurance of the believer. Christians should maintain good works, not for salvation, but because of salvation through the Blood of Christ.

In the eternal conscious blessedness of the saved and the eternal conscious punishment for the lost

In Evangelism as the chief function of the church and the edification of all believers. When we minister to a local Body of Believers we will submit to the authority of that local Pastor or Church Board.

Letter to Pastors

Dear Brother Pastor,

God has entrusted and given to you and incredible responsibility to feed His sheep. I know that you are zealous and cautious in doing so.

As a servant and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I feel led and compelled to offer my ministry to you. God has been gracious by using me to teach and preach on such "back to basic issues" as prayer, forgiveness, brokenness, reconciliation, vision renewal (where there is no vision the people perish- Proverbs 29:18), in local and world evangelism. God has mightily blessed and has used His ministry through me to break up the "fallowed ground" in the local church.

I have recently spoken with pastors that feel that the time of the evangelist and revival meeting is passed. Pastor, I believe that we are in deep trouble in this nation if there is no revival. So many churches in our nation are dead or dying and already have "Ichabod" The glory is departed (1 Samuel 4:21) written above their doors. Yet, I believe there is still hope for revival in our nation. We must have it. In the shadow of the recent tragedies in our nation, we must have a move of God. Otherwise, America is doomed and so are a multitude of people who have not seen the power of the Living God nor heard of the saving grace of our Lord and Savior.

Pastor, my ministry is to honor and glorify God our Father, to edify and build up the Body of Jesus Christ and to be a help and support to you as the shepherd.

Pastor, I pray that you would seek God's direction concerning the possibility of having me minister in some way to you and your church. I know that it is your desire as well as mine to be a Kingdom builder, to see God move throughout your church, your community, and this nation with a fresh anointing.
